Favorite Quotes:

Deuce:

“It’s a good thing you’ve got a big personality, because that’s the only thing that could make up for that tiny penis you’re sporting.”

“There is something every woman should know about a Harley, when you’re straddling the seat, pressed, even slightly, against the gas tank, and there’s a gorgeous guy behind you, all of a sudden every bounce, every vibration, every bump in the damn road becomes erotic.”

“I barely know this man and I’d sell my soul to the devil to have his hands on me daily.”

Flight:

“I don’t know what to do with this kind of attention.  I’m socially awkward, at best.  I do really well in business settings, but when it comes to matters of the heart, the words, ‘epic failure’ come to mind.”

“I wanted to wait for him, continue talking to him, when I realize, I don’t even know his name and he never asked mine.  I’m such a daft cow.  Bloody hell.  Here I am thinking there’s some beautiful connection to this stranger I met by happenstance on a plane when in actuality, he was just being nice effectively making the time fly by.”

“Needing that connection, just holding my hand, was more intimate to me that what we had just done.”

“He watches my eyes intently for what seems an eternity, searching them, for what I’m not sure but when he finds what he’s looking for, the corners of his mouth turn up in a delicious smile.”

“Everything about him produces an almost out-of-body experience I never want to recover from.”

Caged:

“I don’t want to do time for strangling her, but if we are stuck in here together long enough, it might come to that to save my sanity.”

“The anger had dissipated and I can acknowledge when her mouth is shut just what a striking woman she is.”

“It’s easier to be a bitch and have people leave you alone than to allow anyone to get close enough to see the cracks.”

Traffic:

“Men flock to me, but sadly, it always seems to be the wrong men.”

“I just want to exist in the moment.  For once in my life, I just want to experience the here and now, even if I regret it in the morning.  I may be reading too much into this, but there’s only one way to find out.”

“Damn, if there is an imperfection on this man, I can’t find it.  It’s unfair really.”

“I feel at ease with him, able to laugh and enjoy life, a feeling I’ve not known since I was a child and definitely never with a man.”

My Review:

Strangers is a grouping of 4 steamy short stories by Stephie Walls, a new to me author that I would like to see more from.  Each story involves chance meetings by couples who either are strangers or don’t know each other well.  Their meetings are under less than stellar circumstances and lead to unexpected encounters and assignations that are not the usual behavior of those involved (as they all considered themselves “good girls”) and aren’t expected to be anything more than a one-off.  Each vignette is quite erotic and of course, the best sex ever had by either person, which thankfully, leads to much more than the one night adventure they started off expecting.  Each tale is quick, entertaining, titillating and naughty, and results in my always highly desired HEA.

I have a serious addiction to anything Coach and would live on Starbucks if I could get away with it. If you follow me on Facebook you'll also find that I'm slightly enamored with Charlie Hunnam. I'm also a tad obsessed with tattoos and have thirteen scattered on my canvas. I'm an avid reader (literary whore to be more precise) averaging around 300 novels a year and wish I had time to read more. I currently work full-time in the Greenville area and fill my "extra" time (haha) with reading anything I can get my hands on and writing contemporary romance novels with a hint of erotica. This has been a dream of mine for years and I couldn't have done it without the support of my BFF Tracy who pushed me to keep going when I didn't have the confidence or the patience.
